Read on for Giles’ perspectives on positive working culture and career success:

  • 1. Having open and honest strategy, as well as open dialogue from top-down, has been critical for us to drive a high performing, inclusive culture in our organisation.

    2. Empowering your people, giving them a platform to offer ideas and suggestions to how your organisation could continually improve is very effective.

    3. Giving autonomy and being output-focussed in this post-pandemic world, promotes the productive behaviours required for a positive working culture.

  • Ensure you have a clear, defined goal from the outset and do everything with integrity. Initially setting up a 100-day plan to help you get under the skin of the business and understand what you need to do to achieve these goals is critical to your success.

  • The Wim Hof Method; I purchased a cold plunge last year and must say I’ve really seen the benefits of cold water therapy. Hopefully Wim’s method will help me take this to the next level – I can’t recommend cold plunge enough for rehab as well as physical and mental health!

  • SSNAP: “supporting sick newborn and their parents”, is a fantastic charity based out of the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford, that does exactly as the name suggests. This incredible group of volunteer individuals made a big impact on my family’s life when my son was born in 2018. I’m delighted to say we’ve supported them ever since and were very blessed to have had such a positive outcome.

  • 1. The capital markets starting to bounce back and interest rates dropping.

    2. Further M&A we complete as part of The IN Group’s continual growth plans.

    3. Having had ca. 10 years of ‘hurts’, I’m looking forward to watching the most exciting Bath Rugby team we’ve had since the 2015 Prem final!
