  • It means we’re clear on our vision, mission, strategy, and the values that will get us there. We actually live those values out through our behaviours (not just what we say), and the people who aren’t into them self-select out because of how well everyone within the culture upholds it. It may start at the top, but it’s maintained at all levels. In Novus Global’s case, we’re leading humanity into going beyond high performance (our vision), and our values are represented by a phrase: GOLIVE a Noble Life. • My 14-year water polo career was a testament to my resilience. There were countless mornings when the comfort of my warm bed seemed more appealing than a 7 a.m. practice in a cold pool. However, the awareness that my teammates were waiting for me pushed me to overcome any obstacles and show up, no matter what. This experience not only developed my grit and ability to be a teammate, but it also honed my emotional management skills.

  • Who else reads multiple books at once!? I’m reading Be Useful, Worthy, Beyond High Performance, Traction.

  • The Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation holds a special place in my heart. When my children were just one month old and faced health issues, the pediatric surgeon, Dr. Wissanji, was there for them. Now, he is opening a colorectal center of excellence (COCOE) in Montreal, and I’m deeply committed to fundraising for this dignified cause.
